The Regional Exhibition of the Northern Savo Photography 13.1. - 26.2.

The Northern Savo Photography Exhibition conveys the understanding of the region in art. The works
of the exhibition were born out of situations of e.g. neighbourly relationships, holding somebody/sitting
in somebody´s lap or out of spaces ruled by ghost stories and long-forgotten statues.

The artists involved -  Nanna Hänninen, Sini Kovistoinen, Tuire Kurikka, Maria Kärkkäinen,
Ulla-Mari Lindsrtöm, Olli Lähdesmäki, Kirsi Pitkänen, Tuire Punkki and Johanna Väisänen –
all live and work in Northern Savo. The curator is Riitta Raatikainen.
The Exhibition was funded by the Art Council of Northern Savo and the VB Photographic Centre and it
will later be touring in various locations in Northern Savo.
